Young People’s Month 

3k Walks
(Health permitting – check with your doctor)

Young People 3K Walks – during the month of April & August where Children, Teens & Young Adults are motivated and encouraged in taking better care of their Health and Fitness. Walking gives participants a chance to get fit at their own pace while breathing fresh air in and out of their lungs. There is no competition involved but the goal of completing the distance of 3K = 1.86 miles on the weekends. Friends and other family members are welcome to walk also in support of “Young People”.

Our goals as the initiative progress over the years are to include for “Young People’s Month Activities;

  • Young Adults Fitness Fun Competitions
  • Health Expo – Food, Health Screenings, Dental
  • Higher Education / College Expo
  • Financial Education seminars
  • And more..
