  1. 1st Day Young People Awareness Month 
  2. Neurological Day – (Do you hear voices?) – Tell your parents or Guardians if you hear voices or having strange thoughts, so they can have you evaluated by your doctor or specialist (Audiologist or ENT) to help keep you safe.
  3. Basketball Day – Play a game of indoor basketball by yourself or with family and friends.
  4. Local Elected Officials Day – Do you know who your local elected officials are in your area. Find out who they are and what they do for you and your family.
  5. Cook Breakfast, Lunch or Dinner for you and your family.
  6. Read a Book Day – Read one of your own or borrow one from the library.
  7. Nature Day – Help your Parents or Guardians with yard work, remove weeds from around the flower bed at your home or start a garden, plant a fruit or Vegetable.
  8. Play a board game with friends and/or family. Give out prizes. Winners’ chores get done by the losers, take out the garbage, washing dishes, etc.
  9. Baking Day – Bake anything from scratch or buy a ready mix, all you have to add is eggs, milk, oil or water.
  10. Put a puzzle together with your family, friends, etc. Puzzles are a great way to spend some quality time together and learn to cooperate.
  11. Multicultural Day – Learn about your heritage, call, check in with a family member that you haven’t called in a long time.
  12. YOUNG PEOPLE’s DAY” – April 12
  13. Organic Food Day – Cook a meal with your family using organic (Natural) ingredients only.
  14. Movie Night – Watch a movie with your family and/or friends.
  15. Yoga Day – Perform some yoga exercises (Check with your doctor 1st).
  16. Patriot Day – Study the Constitution, Pledge of allegiance, 
  17. Learn some Dance moves with your friends or family. 
  18. Have a Costume Party – Costume parties are often limited to Halloween, but why should you have to wait for a holiday to dress up? Get the family together for an evening of dress-up, or throw a themed party where all the guests will have to wear costumes that have the elements of a particular era, sports teams, 50’s, etc.
  19. Make a Family Video – Family videos are a great way to relive the exciting moments that you shared with your family members. And with today’s advanced technology, making a video is as simple as turning on your smartphone. No matter what you are doing, turn your phone to video mode and make some memories.
  20. Have a Photo Shoot. Well, this is not just a fun thing to do in studios with friends. You can also do it at home with your loved ones. One of the best ways to show your creativity is through photo shoots—you are the photographer while your family members dress and change to act as models (or you can be a model, too). 
  21. Go Through Old Family Albums – Going through old family albums together with your family can bring you closer together.
  22. Have a Tea Party – An evening snack with your family is a good way to catch up on what’s going on in your life. It is even better to set up a table in your backyard and have tea or coffee under the open sun. You can also have some freshly baked snacks to make tea time even more fun.
  23. Environment Day – Clean up garbage outside in front of your home with your family or friends. Safety first.
  24. School Day – Catch up on homework, study for upcoming exams.
  25. Letter Writing Day – Write a letter to a family member you haven’t seen or talked to in awhile.
  26. Have a Fun Family Meeting – Family meetings are generally held to discuss serious matters with your family members, assign daily duties, and talk about progress in school.
  27. Ping Pong Day – Play a game of ping pong with your family or friends.
  28. Song Day – Write and sing your song to your family and/or friends.
  29. Exercise Day – Develop your own routine with your doctor’s supervision.
  30. Have an International Dinner Night. Together with your family or friends, pick a country that interests you. Research about the food and cuisine in that country, and how mealtimes are held. Role play their meal practices.
